How to win with sportsbetting #4 - Know when to quit

in sportsbetting •  7 years ago

Hello there - it’s friday and time for a new betting-tip. Up until now we’ve covered the importance of scheduling your bets, to specify a league and follow it. You have to stay disciplined and try to clear safe on betting with your heart.

This 4th tip will just be a short tip and for some a bit obvious...But none of the less important.

#4 Never bet more money than you can afford to lose.

Yeah. We’ve heard it all before. Quit while you’re head. Yada-yada-yada.

However for some it can be a greater issue - and besides also contain a certain amount of shame to admit you'd have a problem.. It could be very critical if you are in a place where you cannot control it any longer.
Then you should seek help if you are in too deep. Depending on your country you’d probably have a center where these problems are taken care of.
In Denmark the number is: 70 11 18 10

This is one of the reasons why I am fairly strict with how and how often I bet and also keep track of my bets. That way I’ll track whether or not I’ve won with these games and if it’ll show if the hitrate is good. If not then maybe I’d have to revise my ways of betting or take a break.

Personally I do know someone who is in debt and still place bets fairly often - but rarely wins that much. Understand betting can be somewhat a drug and that's why we always have to be confident to call quits when it gets bad or see friends having likewise issues.

Yeah, the worst is when someone tries to make up for losses by ditching the money management and just start throwing money at everything.
