Stipe Miocic has become the biggest UFC heavyweight in history! The third time he defended the champion belt of the toughest category of the strongest MMA promotions. In five rounds he was convincingly better than Francis Ngannou.
The American Croat has been a better fighter through all five rounds, has tactically done everything he needed and convincingly defended the title. All three judges gave victory to our fighter, three times at 50-44.
This is Stipe's 18 career wins and sixth in a row. Stipe won the World Champion title in a free fight after winning the Hunt and Arlov's triumph over Fabricio Werdum. The UFC band owner has been defending the title three times since May 2016, against Alistair Overeem (September 2016), Juniora dos Santosa (May 2017), and Francis Ngannou.
Before the match, the bookmakers did not make use of the American Croat, and after the match Stipe said what he thinks about it:
"That's how it was in almost all my matches, but that does not bother me. I like to silence people, those who bet against me lose a lot of money. I tell them that the next time you bet on me!"
