Sportsphotography: popular races
A few years to this part, the City Council and the Community of Madrid, are promoting the sports activities of the people of Madrid, cutting for several hours the main arteries of the capital, to allow all those who want to participate, can practice sport without the inconvenience of having to travel to the outskirts or go to sports facilities. The most popular sports are marathons and the practice of cycling, which are usually practiced as a family, although the latter modality is being increasingly targeted by locals, who travel to their places of work in this way.

De unos años a esta parte, el Ayuntamiento y la Comunidad de Madrid, vienen promocionando las actividades deportivas de los madrileños, cortando durante varias horas las principales arterias de la capital, para permitir que todos aquellos que quieran participar, puedan practicar deporte sin la inconveniencia de tener que desplazarse a las afueras o acudir a las instalaciones deportivas. Los deportes más populares, son las maratones y la práctica del ciclismo, que suelen practicarse en familia, si bien a ésta última modalidad se están apuntando cada día más madrileños, que se desplazan de este modo a sus lugares de trabajo.
