David De Gea will sign a new long-term contact with Manchester united which will make him the best-paid goalkeeper in the world. He was offered between £350,000 and £375,000 per week to remain at Old Trafford.

He has been named Man Utd's player of the year on a record on four occasions since his arrival at Man' Utd from Ath. Madrid.

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunner, last wednesday gave a positive update on the goalkeeper's future ahead of their pre-season match against Leads.
