The Philippine men's basketball team is back in the Philippines following their fierce campaign at the prestigious 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
Gilas Philippines boarded a plane on Tuesday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
The Filipinos are set to fall to 32nd place in the tournament after failing to score at least one win in their group games and classification phase.
It was Sunday night when Gilas received a 95-75 defeat to Iran, which also led them to record the lowest point differential in the entire tournament with -147 points.
The Philippine Basketball Association (SBP) will soon call a meeting to study the Gilas national campaign in the aforementioned competition.
