Margielyn Didal lands fifth in Street League Skateboarding World Tour in L.A.

Filipino skater Margielyn Didal completed at fifth spot in the 2019 Street League Skateboarding World Tour Monday at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

The 20-year-old Cebuana posted an all out score of 21.7 focuses in the ladies' last round.

This outcome will reinforce her offer for an opening in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

It was a critical day for Brazil as it caught the best two spots — Rayssa Leal with 23.3 focuses and Pamela Rosa with 22.8 focuses.

American Alana Smith gathered together the platform at third spot with 22.5 focuses, while Japanese Aori Nishimura got 22.1 focuses for fourth spot.

Didal stood out as truly newsworthy in the wake of catching the Philippines' fourth gold award in the 2018 Asian Games. She will contend in the up and coming Southeast Asian Games which will be facilitated by the nation this November.
