Saveli Kononov, Russain hockey goalkeeper was handed an AK-47 after his side Izhstal Izhevsk had a 3-2 victory against Chelmet, their rivals. He was given the rifle by the team captain after his team mates voted him as player of the match.
The 23- year-old can be seen in the changing room after the game as one of the club officials brings the weapon in. He handed it over to the captain who then officially makes the handover to Saveli.
