The English Premier league resumed action after the international break and it came with a simple message, SAY NO TO RACISM.

Aston Villa 2-1 Brighton

Matt Targett's strike secures three points and back-to-back wins for Villa, who came from behind against Brighton.

Crystal Palace 0-2 Man City

Two first-half goals from Gabriel Jesus and David Silva were enough to see off Crystal Palace, moving Man City to within five points of Liverpool.

Spurs 1-1 Watford

Dele Alli's late strike thwarts Watford in a pulsating encounter.

Wolves 1-1 Southampton

Raul Jimenez's penalty cancels out Danny Ings' opener as the spoils are shared.

Leicester 2-1 Burnley

Dele Alli 86th minutes goal brings Spurs level as he beats Ben Foster to a loose ball, controls and finishes.

Manchester United 1 - 1 Liverpool
Manchester United Rashford first half goal and Liverpool Lalana's late goal ended the game in a draw.
