I've heard of the robbery of second, third and even hont, but I had never heard of a baseball player stealing first base. After 150 years of baseball life history this Saturday, July 14, 2019, the first first base robbery was achieved, achieved by outfielder Tony Thomas of the Blue Crabs of South Maryland, successfully conquering the initial one.
This will remain in the book of history, this could be done thanks to the change of rule in the Atlanthic League ..
The modification of the rule basically says:
Any ball that the pitcher throws and the catcher lets go "is alive" and the batter can run to first.
Will this new rule adapt the MBL?
nice
