Manchester City have completed Joao Cancelo signing from Italian giant Juventus for £60M.
The Portugal right back joins Manchester city in a deal that saw City's right back Danilo move to Juventus in a £34.1 deal.
Cancelo, 25 years old penned down a 5 years contract at the Ethihad stadium and was City's third signing after Rodri and Angelino as they look to bolster their squad in preparation for the English premier league title defense and as they look to challenge for the champions league.
Cancelo was happy to join the Manchester side and talked about how delighted.
“Everything about them has impressed me, from the facilities, to their style of play.
"I am always looking to develop my game and win trophies and I believe I can do that here, so now I'm really looking forward to the new season and testing myself in the Premier League."
Cancelo who is versatile enough to play further forward and also at left back joined Juventus from Valencia in the summer of 2018 after a full season loan at Inter Milan for £35M.
City's football director Txiki Begiristain was in high spirit about Cancelo and called him a fine player and an excellent attacking full back that will provide the team with a real threat at the right side when facing opponents.
“He fits the profile of player we want here at Manchester City. His best years are ahead of him, he's technically proficient and has the physical attributes we desire."
Joao Cancelo is a member of the Portugal team that won the National league but he played no part in it.
