In the latest debate over whether the EPL should be suspended or completely scrapped has casued outcry among fans.
As of right now the EPL is suspended until the end of April however with the Coronavirus still at large and increasing it seems unlikely that the sport can resume.
what doe a void season mean ? A voided season means that it wont count even if you are winning the league you wont win it because it has been voided. it also means that potentially no clubs will be relegated and no clubs from the league below will be promoted.
why no one wants the season to be voided ? were 3 quarters through the season Liverpool are run away leaders whilst Norwich are slumped bottom and if it was voided Liverpool wouldn't win despite being so far ahead of every other club and only a few points away from actually win it.
what if the season stays suspended and then resumes in late april, may? Well firstly the season would end way later than usual that will effect the following season including UCL and Europa league fixtures so its not just the epl its every league in England and competitions that link to English football.
Personally i cannot see the league resuming in late April if it does resume i feel it would be in late June which will effect other things massively however if the season is voided it would cause pain to certain teams who have worked hard to achieve the position they are currently in.
