I‘m so with you on this... and I had to laugh out loud when I read your comment about the BMG-„belt“ („the belt itself is dumb“). it is ridiculous and cringy.

    i think they won't even talk about it anymore. It is pretty widely agreed that it is a dumb award and if they just don't talk about it, it can be imagined that it never happened in the first place.
