Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted Manchester United's pre-season results were meaningless as they prepared to face the new season in the English Premier League.
United have won all five of their friendly matches ahead of the 2019-20 season, including wins over Inter and Tottenham.
But Solskjaer, who will face AC Milan at the International Champions Cup on Saturday, said the results were irrelevant ahead of the league opening match against Chelsea at Old Trafford on August 11.
"We are very happy with that. It's nice to see the players return to pre-season in good condition," he told TalkSPORT on Thursday.
"But again, there are no points given, and that doesn't matter when Chelsea come to Old Trafford on August 11."
