Malaysia will pass the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games torch and flame on Thursday, October 3.

The turnover ceremony will be held at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Malaysia, led by Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) chairman and House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano with chef de mission chairman Butch Ramirez, and Philippine Olympic committee Bambol Tolentino.

They will receive the hosting role from the Malaysian Olympic Committee.

For PHISGOC ceremonies director Mike Aguilar, passing torch and flame is one of the key events in the field as it demonstrates the transfer of responsibility from the past to the present.

With the exception of Malaysia, there will be torch relays in Davao, Clark, Cebu, the Senate, Congress and even in Malacañang.

It is known that the SEA Games will start from November 30 to December 11.
