Chelsea will be welcoming a host of players back to the side after the international break, with as many as five stars set to feature in upcoming matches.

The club has been depleted in their opening matches to the new English Premier League season, but that might change against Wolves; their next opponents.

Here are the five stars are expected back to the team;

Antonio Rudiger
The German has been missing from the side since his injury in April, eventually undergoing surgery as he missed the last matches of the 2018/19 season including the Europa League final.
.
He has been in training for weeks now and is expected to take his place in the Blues' defence, where he will most likely partner Andreas Christensen, with Kurt Zouman failing to fully impress in his absence.

His return will offer the side the experience it has lacked in recent matches.

N'Golo Kante

The Frenchman has had a troubled start to the season and was forced to return back to camp during their preseason tour to recuperate from an injury he suffered towards the end of the last season.

He hasn't fully recovered and manager Frank Lampard suggested he would need some time off to fully re-energise, after a busy season for club and country.

He is however expected to be back after the break.

Reece James

Chelsea turned down loan offers for the 19-year-old in the recently-closed transfer window, a clear indication that he might have a role to play this season.

Cezar Azipilicuta's decline in form is worrying to the club, and James might be thrown into the Chelsea defence alongside Rudiger and Christensen after the international break.

He has been out since June when he injured his ankle while playing for England’s U20s.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

The young Englishman has been missing from the side since April, after suffering a ruptured Achilles, but just like Rudiger, has been training for the last couple of weeks.

He is hoping to continue with his progress from last season, having broken into Maurizio Sarri's squad after a failed bid by German giants Bayern Munich.
Others expected to be fit for the match include Pedro, who missed the last two matches after a minor knock in training
