The Netball World Cup begins today in Liverpool, England.
The preliminary round of the Netball World Cup will be held in four categories and Sri Lanka will compete in Group A.
The rest of the teams are Australia, Northern Ireland and Zimbabwe.
Sri Lanka, the Asian champions, will play their first match against Zimbabwe today.
