I'm glad VVD didn't win it. Wouldn't be able to stand Liverpool fans hailing him as the greatest defender of all time. Like nah mate, first become the best defender of this generation. Which by the way, is never going to happen even if he keeps winning big for the next whole decade with both club and country.
