CEBU CITY - Ironman 70.3, an international triathlon event, will once again be held in Cebu on Sunday.
This is the eighth time the province will host the event.
Up to 400 people are expected to provide security in the area including personnel from the PNP; Philippine Air Force; and barangay peacekeepers in the city of Lapu-Lapu.
Maritime, Naval Forces Central and coast guard will provide additional personnel and floating assets for swimming activity.
The tournament covers Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Cebu and Talisay and ends at a resort in Lapu-Lapu City.
