Rodions Kurucs has been arrested for alleged assault for his former girlfriend inside his apartment. The Brooklyn Nets player turned himself in and was arraigned on misdemeanor assault charge and be back at the court 21st of October.
Kurucs lawyer, according to The Daily News report, said there are no photos of alleged assault. Also the 32- year old woman did not report the incident for nearly a couple of months and after the alleged assault, they flew together to Last Vegas.
A statement from Brooklyn Nets:
"After learning of the allegations against Rodions Kurucs, we notified and are assisting the League Office as they begin the process of gathering more information,"
"The Nets organization takes allegations of this nature with extreme seriousness. While the investigation is underway and as we continue to learn more, we will refrain from commenting further."
