International Cricket Council (ICC) warns Indian team captain Virat Kohli over shoulders of the opposing team.

According to the ICC statement, Virat Kohli has been found to be in breach of the ICC Code of Conduct, which has led to his being violated and a de merit point.

Virat Kohli was found to be in violation of ICC Code of Conduct 2.12, which deals with physical (physical) contact with any player, umpire, spectator in the international match.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli had bowed to Proteas bowler Beaver Hendrix in the 5th over of the third Twenty20 match against South Africa in Bangalore yesterday.

After this incident, Kohli's dispensary record has been added one de merit points and for the third time after January 2018, he has been given de merit points.

Earlier, he was awarded the de-merit points for making unnecessary appeals in the Test against South Africa in 2018 and the match against Afghanistan at the World Cup.

Violation of level one involves the player being fined, 50% of the match fee and fined one or two de merit points.
