A difficult time can be more readily endured and finally Frank Lampard finally earned his first league win but all thanks to the young striker Tammy Abraham who scored a brace to seal the win for the blues. Chelsea team despite playing good football with the collections of young players face a major blow in the midfield after Ngolo Kante couldn't make the trip to Norwich City due to injury.
Norwich city after getting their first win last week looks dangerous with their striker Pukki making the headlines in the week 2 with his hat-trick goal and a goal to his name in the week 1 which really tells that the Chelsea defense line will really have to do a great work to stop him.
The game finally kicked start at East Anglia and Chelsea looked like a wounded lion who is really looking for a revenge, the team know how important the game is to boost their confidence. Mount again was deploy to the no 10 role while Barkley and Pulisic started from the flank with young academy graduate Tammy Abraham leading the team.
Chelsea dominated game after the kick off whistle was blown and the goal came just 3 minutes into the game from a spectacular strike from Tammy Abraham. The team connected well upfront when Mount played a through pass to Pulisic in the wing which also allow Azpilicueta to make a run down the flank, Pulisic delivered the pass to Azpilicueta who played a brilliant cross out into the box and Abraham was there at the perfect time to smack it into the back of the net.
Norwich city cancelled out the goal in the 6 minutes after approaching the game back with a good spirit in the midfield, Chelsea look so soft in defensive position and allow Norwich to play a one two ball which Cantwell guided to the net and that makes it 1-1. The game continues and the blues look so desperate to get their first win when Mount cut in from the edge after receiving the ball from Pulisic with another fine finish in the 17 minutes.
Chelsea also had another chance to control the game through Christensen's headed but Tim Krul guided it well to tip it over the bar. Norwich finally bring the game back to level through Pukki in 30 minutes which makes it 5 goals in for striker in 3 matches. After the heart breaking goal, Chelsea continue to attack high but most of the chances created were not enough to change the scoreline before the half break.
The second half begins and the blues also took charge immediately but were denied a penalty by the VAR when Stiepermann had a slice contact with Azpilicueta in the box. Chelsea at the end got their winning goal through Tammy Abraham from Kovacic pass, the striker fired past two defenders before shooting the ball past Krul. Norwich were so unlucky this time as they hit the cross bar. Both managers makes some changes and it was Chelsea who got the maximum points at Carrow Road.
