Already 2 years! Wow
I joined the Steem blockchain on the first of August of 2017. At that time I had been waiting for a full week to get my Steem account approved by Steemit. It sucked to wait that long and being eager to join this network. I don't know if the approval is still that long at Steemit, but we all know there are other ways to join this blockchain now.
I have seen a lot in those two years, all time highs and all time lows. From over 8 $ for one Steem to a measly 0.08 $. That's just how things sometimes go. Flag wars, people turning their back to Steemit, abuse, but on the other hand. There is way more positive for me than negative. I have met a ton of new friends. @shaungerow, @alexvanaken, @practicaleric, @elsiekjay, @eveuncovered, @surfermarly (who sadly left this place)... it is impossible to mention everybody here. But then there is the new wave that came with the SCOT bot, made by @aggroed. Everyone was waiting for SMT's and communities, promised by Steemit, but they didn't come (on time). So @aggroed made something better, in my opinion. A pre setup for anyone to join and make their own tribe or community with its own token. And the possibilities of this are far beyond what an SMT can do. As far as I know. This evolution has in my opinion made Steem, the best place to invest in crypto right now. And it is way more fun, as you can very easily find your fellow enthousiasts about a certain subject. Like sports, investing, creativity, on Sportstalk.Social, Steemleo.com, and CCC network. And there are many more.

Wow your journey on this platform is an interesting one and a wonderful story which I can read and read all over again.
To me based on what I have realised so far, is to always accept challenges in other words never back down or lose hope on something you wish to achieve or accomplish in the future.

I am more a comment guy, I do post but since I'm mostly busy at work or studying I barely has time to sit in front of my laptop to write a good article. Hopefully we will witness a new dawn for Steem, @aggroed really created a nice opportunity for this ecosystem to thrive once again...

Hello there @pele23, what an amazing journey man. I've also been with steem for 2 years and what a coincident that my 2nd year anniversary also falls this month, well to be exact based on steemd.com, I started in steemit last August 1, 2017 04:20:24 and It seems that I opened my account few hours earlier after you opened yours. This is really amazing! Let's see where steem blockchain is heading in the next few more years to come. Again Happy Anniversary!!!

Many people have come gone in that time based on price, but those who have stuck it out have gained things that money can't buy. Congrats with the 2 year Steemiversary @pele23, we started around the same time. So much has happened indeed and I feel the pace of things evolving is currently going parabolical and impossible to keep up with everything. Let's hope the price will go along with it at some point and reach 8$ again :)
