Granit Xhaka has been removed as Arsenal's captain following a recent incident where the player appeared to have made some unpleasant gesture to the fans which didn't go down well with the management as well as the fans of the club.

At a recent interview the club's coach, Unai Emery, was questioned about the likelihood of a new replacement to take up the mantle of leadership or captaincy, the manager made mentions of some players who are likely to take up the role but made reference to Aubameyang being the one player who was more qualified for the role.
