Today I would like to show you some photos from car racing.
This time they were not "normal" car racing. This time it was wreck racing.
These races are very similar to rallycross, but the cars are taked for scrap.
There are two categories of starting cars - civil
and pro
If someone has watched a rallycross competition, he knows perfectly well that the fight on the track is fierce, and the cars often drive the bumper into the bumper, pushing each other off the track.
Specially prepared obstacles on the track, effectively hinder the ride of competitors, requiring drivers to make even more effort and determination.
These cars are from scrap metal, so it happens that they do not have power steering. To handle such a wreck you need to be physically fit and have a lot of strength and endurance.
For this additional strength is useful in the parking lot, when you need to improve the car before the next start :)
A few years ago I was a rally pilot in rallys in the amateur district class.
It was a responsible task, and also great fun, but required from the rally crew (that is, the driver and pilot) a good fitness preparation, in order to bear the hardships of a rally car well.
However, fun is the most important thing in any sport :)
Yesterday, as a spectator, I also had a great time.
The roar of the engine and speed always add adrenaline.
At the end the weather gave us the last effort - running on a cross-country track.... to the car.... in the rain :)
The weather in the mountains can surprise.
