Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang claims Arsenal have best chances to finish fourth in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners finished fifth last term and have lost just one league fixture in this campaign against Liverpool.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the table but a win tonight against Sheffield United will see the Gunners climb above Chelsea and Leicester City into third.

Aubameyang is enjoying a superb start to the season and was named the Premier League Player of the Month for September.

The award is Aubameyang second Premier League Player of the Month award since joining Arsenal in 2018.

In his speech, Auba maintains:

I’m sure we will achieve the top four. That’s the goal. That’s our aim.

While top four is important, i doubt if that was the target the club. Although it is hard to say and we know Liverpool and Manchester City are still way above many team in the League but football is not always predicted by mouth only or looking at qualities alone but it is a match of XI against XI.

With this spirit by Auba, at least we know Arsenal are aiming for title this season. Hopefully, we can achieve this.

After the Sheffield United match tonight, Arsenal return to Europa League action on Thursday night against Vitoria Sport Clube.

Arsenal have a great team. The only issue I think they might need to fix in the January transfer window is their shaky defence.

Aubameyang on his part is one of the best strikers in the EPL at the moment. Arsenal do have a great stake to make. Fourth is definitely achievable for them.

I do not totally agree with you on the defence aspect. Tierney, Rob and Bellerin are back from injury. Right now, we have more players at the back. The area i think we need to work on is the midfield. If he keeps trusting Xhaka in that midfield, then we will keep having same problem because we are always off in the midfield.

Bellerin is back? I never knew. Arsenal have midfielders. There's that guy from Real Madrid (can't recall his name). Emery seems to have lost trust in Ozil. Arsenal have some nifty good players. However, I wouldn't say no to more players coming in.
