West Ham is pushing ahead with the signing of Gonzalo Higuain.
Higuain has returned to Juventus from Chelsea on loan but Juventus is likely to be in the negotiations as he has lost his position in the team.
West Ham is considering to sign Higuain.
According to reports, West Ham is interested in Higuain in consideration of the difficulty of signing Maxi Gomez. Gomez, who is known to be close to Valencia, but West Ham is more likely to turn to another target.
West Ham are struggling for the striker as they move out Arnautovic to Shanghai, Lucas Perez and Andy Carroll. Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) is also expected to be transferred.
West Ham is now in the hunt for Higuain. After returning to Juventus, Higuain said he would compete in the first team but there was a report that he was not included in the first-team plan.
