Kojo Williams, a onetime chairman of Nigeria Football Association says he is not pleased that Amaju Pinnick is still presiding over Nigerian football despite the corruption allegations weaved around him.

Kojo reiterates the NFF boss should step down, insisting that was the single most honorable thing for him to do now.

“In other climes, all of them, including Amaju, Shehu Dikko, should have quit the Glass House by now,” Kojo said without a reservation during an exclusive chat with Completesports.com

“In other climes, all of them, including Amaju, Shehu Dikko, should have quit the Glass House by now,” Kojo said without reservation.

“They should leave, simple and straight forward.”

The two top hierarchy of the NFF has come under the scrutiny of the government anti-corruption agency, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), with Amaju’s houses in Lagos, Dikko’s house in Abuja as well as properties of other 12 NFF officials reportedly sealed off by the anti-graft agency for alleged corrupt practices.

Kojo added: “Let ICPC do its work. Let them conduct their investigations. They won’t sell the properties if they don’t have their facts.”

“They [ICPC officials] are highly professional even if Nigerians underrate them. They know exactly what they are doing.”

The executive board and congress of NFF are yet to comment on the alleged corruption swing around the top NFF officials.

Kojo says this development is nothing new to him.

“Is the congress clean on itself? They are all birds of the same feather,” he alleged.

“A congress that’s paid to vote in a certain direction. That’s why our football is not moving forward.”

A post on Corruption Allegations seems oddly apt. This is at least the third warning by refs on continued plagiarism.
