One thing that Real do know from dealing with Levy over the Bale & Modric transfers is that Kane is going to cost them a huge sum of money. Seems to me that Real need to make several high profile signings to replace some of their ageing stars so the other question is do they see Kane as the top priority?

Exactly. With Karim Benzema they could probably go another season without another striker. So you have to think that the next summer they will be looking at Harry Kane regardless of the price. With Levy you pay the fee and move on. He has built a legacy on being a shrewd business man.
