Werder Bremen was able to get a win and bag the three points against Augsburg in what could be a very entertaining match below the table. Werder managed to past Augsburg, thanks to the goals of Yuya Osako (6th and 67th minute) and Josh Sargent (21st minute) making them win.

Augsburg also managed to score two goals but wasn't enough. It was Werder who dominated the possession holding 67% of the ball. Out of that they managed to create 15 chances in which 5 of them were shots on target.

Their next opponent will be against Union Berlin who made an upset against Dortmund on 14th of September.
