USA lost again twice in a row in their campaign for FIBA World Cup 2019 single-handedly defeated by Serbia 94-89 and being defeated twice which makes them battle with the position of 7th-8th.

USA has been a dominating force in Basketball but because of the absence of their superstars due to prevent them from injury, they were forced to use a second-tier talent for their squad especially in the big man position. Now, they have suffered the consequences.

Serbia is running for 5th in the standings.
