Looks like Messi was rushed back from his previous injury because of our miserable start of the season. The injury he suffered in August really affected the performance of the team and his resumption brought a little bit of relief.
Now, he played the first game and the injury is back again and I hope this time around, the injury won't be as worse or take longer time to heal than the last one. Yeah I know he will surely return to claim his throne in La Liga, but the question is how Barcelona will survive without the presence of Messi in the team.

I feel that he might be away from the game for a long time than the former one and we have to figure out a way to win games but my fear is that we might end up trophyless this season if things continue this way

The fear for Barca is that Messi and Luis Suarez both are aging at the exact same time. Having an age where Messi, Busquets, Xavi, and Iniesta all came up through the academy and you were able to seamlessly transition from Puyol to Pique is stuff that can never be counted on happening again.
