The manager of Paris Saint Germain, Thomas Tuchel praised Neymar's response to the hostile reception given to him from the home support on Saturday saying that the Brazilian had to accept the boos and vulgar language from fans even after he marked his return with a spectacular winner against Strasbourg.
It was his first game of the season for PSG, and Neymar waved his magic wand in additional time, scoring a lone goal to give PSG a 1-0 win on Saturday . But this did not stop the Brazil star from being targeted by his own fans and booed at as a result of an off-season transfer saga during which he reportedly pushed for a return to Barcelona.
Tuchel said that Neymar needed to accept being booed at by supporters while also praising his response to the hostility at the same time.
That's the life, it's not easy for the fans too during the transfer market. That's why we have to accept their behaviour. I don't want to judge their behaviour, it's like that. It was not easy.
PSG supporters should calm down, let bygones be bygones. Neymar is a star and there is nothing they can do to change that fact.
