Mane Absent in Community Shield

Liverpool will be without its star player, Sadio Mane, when against Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (04/08/2019). This was revealed by the coach himself, Jurgen Klopp.

"He (Mane) is in good condition. But at the moment he is still enjoying his vacation ration, he will return on August 5, after the match against Manchester City," the German coach was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.

Klopp isn't too concerned about Mane's absence because he thinks Liverpool aren't just Mane.

"I think this team is not just about Mane, so we are not worried about the conditions that we are going through, especially on the front lines," Klopp said.
