Former Test cricketer Abdul Qadir passed away in Lahore at the age of 63. Kamran Akmal, brother of Abdul Qadir's son-in-law cricketer Omar Akmal, confirmed his death and said that former cricketer Abdul Qadir suffered a heart attack which proved fatal. Al-Qadir was born in Lahore on September 15, 1955 and represented Pakistan in 67 Tests and 104 one-day matches and won 236 and 132 wickets respectively. Abdul Qadir was one of Prime Minister Imran Khan's most distinguished friends and was a fan of modern art. His bowling was instrumental in making a living.
