Both of these AFC West teams are fired up and looking for a needed win. Chiefs just lost for the first time this season and looked like a team without an offense for the first time all season. While I think some believe Alex Smith will revert to his former short-play self, I think he's going to huck it and chuck it against the Raiders while punishing the DLine and LBs with Kareem Hunt. Oakland is 20th against the rush and 21st against the pass - Chiefs will feast.
On the other side, the Raiders are 2-4, last in AFC West after their slim loss to the Chargers last week, and being down 2-5 would be practically a death-knell for any team in this division. This would hurt a lot for a team that many pegged as Super Bowl contenders. Now they're way outside the playoff hunt, looking for a way in. I don't think it happens for them tonight, and Derek Carr and the Raiders will have a sad swan song of a season before being shipped off to Vegas.
Chiefs to cover (also the lines have been -2.5 to -3.5, which is an overreaction, especially considering the Raiders lost to the Chargers in Oakland last week).
