Giants @ 49ers

In week 10 the San Francisco 49ers (0-9) play host to the visiting New York Giants(1-7). On paper the teams look evenly matched.

Losing seasons

Together, both teams have played a combined total of 17 games this season, but have only managed to amass a dismal single win between them, meaning that both teams are sitting dead last in their divisions and are currently battling over last place in their Conference.

Going back to last season this is nothing new for the 49ers who finished exactly where they are now, dead last, but it is a huge change of circumstances for the Giants, who Finished a very respectable 5 in the NFC.

Eli Mannnng, the Giants qb, has passed for 1820 yards and 12 touchdowns, he has 296 attempts and 189 completions, a 63.2% completion rate.

The 49ers, who have been searching for a qb that they can put their faith in, have recently aquired NE Patriots back-up quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but according to reports, jimmy will not play this sunday, and in fact won't play until the coach feels he is ready.

I believe the giants have the talent and potential to turn their season around if they can regain their lost confidence and find their form, and this, just may be the game that is needed to do so, for this reason I predict the Giants will cover the spread.
