Lakers are probably thrilled to be 3-4, given where expectations were to start the season. They've done it in a surprising way - they're 6th in DRtg and 28th in ORtg - you don't expect a team full of young players (and supposedly bad defenders in Ball, Randle, Lopez, etc.) to be this good defensively so far. They've played some bad teams though and 5 of their 7 games have been played at Staples Center.
Tonight, they're traveling to Portland where the Blazers are tough. Lillard and his merry band have also been really good defensively - ranking 5th in DRtg so far. I think the Lakers really struggle to score and Portland pulls away in the second half.
Pick: Blazers -6.5
