In this latest project, the Boss did a solo run on Broadway. In an intimate Broadway Theatre, Bruce appeared night after night to share his story. The songs you have always loved are revamped and intermingled with stories and rock-and-roll wisdom.
This one-man show is an absolute masterpiece. I have watched it several times, and above all I'm grateful to Bruce Springsteen for making this sacrifice. This was not a necessary addition to his wildly successful career, but he felt it needed to be done. Being a broadway actor is hard work; much harder than being a rock legend.
The show offers insights about Bruce and his music that you may have never known, even if you have been a fan forever.
It will make you cry, it will make you laugh, and it will make you want to call your father.
