HP Sprocket pocket-sized photo printer launched at Rs 8,999
![image]() BENGALURU: Technology giant Hewlett-Packard introduced a pocket-sized photo printer, HP Sprocket, aimed at attracting millennials, travelers and photography enthusiasists. The printer weighs about 0.17 kgs and can print photos directly from smartphones and tablets. "The selfies and pictures taken in our phones are in "digital prisons" and we lose them them often," said Rajkumar Rishi, senior director, Print Business, HP India. "Sprocket caters to the millennials who would want a physical copy of their cherished memories." HP is one of the largest players in the printer business with a major play in commercial, enterprise and consumer printing. The global technology giant is focused on bringing innovating for the changing needs of the customer and has introduced Sproket which works on both Android and iOS platforms.
After clicking the picture, users can add emojis and edit the picture before printing it through the Sproket app. The device will be sold at an MRP of Rs 8,999.
