He has been trying to make a comeback in the recent months but has never been able to get back into form but now in Cincinnati Masters he made a strong statement by defeating Nishikori in straight sets . He played brilliant tennis and there was no clue of knee problem .
He defeated the Japanese no.1 6-4 , 6-4 .
