The defender has been one of Mourinho's most consistent performer this season. Many players in Manchester United have not had the best of starts to the campaign but Luke Shaw has been up there and has performed really well. He's assisted and he's scored and there's rarely anything else you'd request from a defender.
The player had come off injured in the victory over Newcastle. However, after much examination, he has been given the nod to feature for Manchester United in the game against Chelsea next week.
The player has improved tremendously, casting shadows to lasts two seasons where he was heavily criticised by Mourinho,the reason, it's been speculated, that he's refusing a contract renewal.
