One of Europe's top finest Premier League clubs, Manchester United are currently looking at the possibility of signing a player from Porto, Diogo Dalot. Current reports making the rounds have it that the club's coach, Jose Mourinho is combing the market for a sound right-back who can compete for a spot in the team's current first Eleven.
This is really important to the coach especially with the future of Matteo Darmian at the club still unclear. The Porto fullback who is a native of Portugal and plays for the Portugal U21 team made his first debut for Porto's first team back in February.
Reports have it that a release-clause of about €20m (£17.4m) is present in the 19 year old's contract with Porto which is expected to expire next summer. Some of the other leading clubs in Europe have also been identified as being interested in the youngster.
One of the products of Porto's academy, Dalot was part of the Portugal U17 team that won the U17 Euros back in 2016. Earlier this season, he played out of position at left back during the knockout stages of the Champions League for Porto.
