Palace has played 8 games without a win which ended in the match against Burnley. It was a 2-0 Victory against Burnley. James McArthur (16) gave Palace the lead with a mind blowing goal from his left foot. The victory was further sealed by Andros Townsend with an amazing strike at Selhurst Park.

Burnley gave in to the fifth defeat in 5 league games keeping them in a position among the last 3 while Palace moved up to 14th position.
Wilfried Zaha remained a threat to Burnley from the beginning of the match. Also Max Meyer was at his best against Burnley. Although Hart, the Burnley's goal keeper did saved his team a lot but he couldn't stop them from losing the match.
The Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson must be super elated at his victory and he sure will see this as the beginning of better things to come.
