Marc Marquez, six-time world champion has pushed aside his two wheels ride and gone into a Formula 1 car to test it.
This has previously been done by Jorge Lorenzo, as well as Valentino Rossi.
Tuesday saw the Repsol Honda Team MotoGP champion get into an F1 car branded by Toro Rosso in Spielberg, Austria for a private test at the Red Bull Ring.
Helmut Marko, Red Bull motorsport advisor, Ex-F1 race winner, Mark Webber and Niki Lauda, the non-executive chairman of Mercedes, as well as a three time F1 world champion was at the venue to keep an eye on the progress of the Spaniard.
Just before getting behind the wheels of the F1 car for his maiden F1 test, Marquez first went to the Red Bull’s Milton Keynes HQ. There he first had a seat fit before getting into the team’s simulator.
