The Polish international has told management at Bayern Munich that he wants out of the club.
There have been interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea inquiring about the player.
Real Madrid needs a replacement for the goals that Ronaldo used score. Lewandowski is known to be prolific in front of goal. He could be the ideal replacement for Ronaldo's goals.
Also, Chelsea are in the market for a forward as Morata failed to do the job last season. The club had contacted Juventus for a possible transfer but are wary of the player's asking price. Furthermore, a signing like Lewandowski's could make Hazard stay as that has been his terms for a while.
Lewandowski let go of his former agent towards the end of last season but still has a contract with Bayern till 2021.
The club has put an official statement in their website deterring other clubs from trying to sign the player and reminding them that the player only recently signed a contract extension. He told detractors that they risked being punished by FIFA should they make a move for their player.
