Lopetegui speaks on VAR and Isco's absence

The Real Madrid gaffer was speaking in a news conference ahead of Wednesday's clash against Sevilla.

The coach explained Isco's absence saying that the midfielder was about to undergo surgery for appendicitis. It's an operation that would be most likely rule him out for up to a month. He explained that Isco came into training with pains and had to be tested. He confirmed that the problem was appendicitis.

Lopetegui said he was now a thinking of who would replace him.

Julen Lopetegui also spoke about Sevilla and how the players were adapting to Pablo Manchin's system. He aside they are fast ands have scored a lot of goals.

Lopetegui also gave his view on the Video technology that was causing a lot of debates. He said while nothing is perfect, the VAR was improving, thus showing his support for the technology.
