Jose Mourinho's job as coach of the Old Trafford outfit has come under intense pressure and scrutiny given their poor start to the season. Two games have seen a win and a loss. The manager is under immense pressure to deliver and will be hoping to get things right against Tottenham.
The board are solidly behind the coach at least for the time being. They've given the Portuguese their backing.
However, if things do not go well, Manchester United are prepared to find a replacement after relieving the Portuguese of his duties. And news has it that they would favor the Zidane over Pochettino.
Let's just hope that Mourinho does well for United and doesn't get axed. There's that stigma and third season syndrome hanging over his head and it's up to him to prove his critics wrong.
