The Italian side have held fruitful talks with the agents of the Chelsea star.
The arrival of Kovacic means there will be no space for Bakayoko in the team. There's another place for him though with Inter interested in signing him.
The club's rep in Leonardo and Paolo Maldini have met with the player's agent and it appears that a deal has been agreed.
Tiemoue Bakayoko will move to Inter Milan for a season-long loan. There's also the option to buy the player next season for £30-35 million.
Bakayoko arrived Chelsea in 2017 for £45 million but failed to impress or male impact on the pitch. He's thus not sure of a Chelsea role this season.
