The return of the Kraken in PBA

June Mar The Kraken Fajardo will join his team, the San Miguel Beermen, next month for the PBA Governors Cup. He suffered from shin injury last month that force him to sit out for 8 weeks. He already missed two games in the current season of the PBA and didnt join in the Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers 2019.

June Mar played center for San Miguel Beermen and has a career average of 16 points, 12 rebounds and 1 assist per game. He received too many awards in his basketball career. He is a 2-time PBA Finals MVP and already won 6 PBA championships. June Mar is a former player of Gilas Pilipinas or Team Philippines. He gave his best last year and won the SEABA Championship 2017 with his Gilas teammates.

Currently, Christian Standhardinger replaces Fajardo as a center of San Miguel Beermen but Fajardo is much better than Standhardinger. Fajardo can make a post, rebound and shoot in perimeter area. He is slow unlike Standhardinger but he can do offensive rebounds that will help the team to score more points.

San Miguel Beermen already has 1 win-1 loss standing and rank 7 in the PBA Governors Cup. They really need Fajardo to rebound and defend on the inside. Lets just hope for Fajardo to recover his injury so that he can return and play next month not only for San Miguel Beermen but for the Philippines as well.
