West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez said Manchester United would remain a very special club in his heart after getting applause from his old supporters at Old Trafford on Sunday (4/14) early morning hrs.
The player nicknamed Chicharito returned to Manchester in the Hammers uniform to face the Red Devils host in the 34th week of the English Premier League, with his team having to give up 2-1.
Chicharito, 30, was once part of the United squad between 2010 and 2015, as he was able to present two Premier League trophies and one Community Shield during his time there.
The known deadly figure in the penalty box was given preferential treatment from his old supporters when pulled out in the 73rd minute, when his team still played 1-1.
Regarding the treatment, Chicharito on his personal Instagram stated: Its difficult to find a sentence that can describe my feelings when pulled out of the field today. @manchesterunited will remain a very special club for me and my family. Returning to Old Trafford and getting the applause has never been easier to digest ... thanks to all the Manchester United supporters who have done it today. A day that I will never forget.
